The Two Methods
Pipe Lining (CIPP)
A flexible, resin-coated liner is pulled into the existing pipe and cured in place, forming a smooth new pipe inside the old one. Seams and joints — where roots get in — are sealed off along the lined run.
Pipe Bursting
A bursting head is pulled through the old line, fracturing it outward while towing a new pipe into its place. Used when the old pipe is too damaged to line but the path is still passable.
When Trenchless Is the Right Call
- The line runs under a driveway, patio, pool deck, or mature trees you want to keep
- The problem is roots, cracks, or joint failure along a passable line
- You want the line renewed, not just cleared, so the same problem stops returning
When It Isn’t
A fully collapsed section, a badly bellied (sagging) line that holds water, or a line that has shifted out of alignment may need open repair instead. The camera inspection comes first, and if trenchless won’t serve your line honestly, we’ll say so and explain the alternative.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is a lined pipe as good as a new pipe?
A cured liner forms a continuous, joint-free pipe inside the old one — no seams for roots to enter and a smooth surface that resists buildup. For the right line, it’s a full renewal, not a patch.
How much of my yard gets dug up?
Typically one or two small access pits — often at the cleanout and the connection — instead of a trench the length of the line. What’s above the line (driveway, landscaping) is left undisturbed.
How do I know if my line qualifies?
Call (772) 555-0148 and we’ll schedule a camera inspection. The footage shows whether the line is passable and structurally suitable — that inspection is what qualifies or disqualifies a line, not a sales opinion.
